The homes we toured this week for the MLS tour were less than spectacular in value, although one very cute and totally remodeled home off Galveston in the heart of the chic downtown business section of town would be a joy to live in if the price were reduced by at least $50,000. I do want to bring to your attention, though, a home in Three Pines currently in short sale, and the bank has a price it is willing to accept less than the asking price of $575,000. This custom built home with private front and back patios, massive fireplace and dramatic great room has one of the top five kitchens I have ever seen. Beautiful home.
